Advanced training and international development beyond borders
Naples, [29/01/26] — Passalacqua continues to strengthen its international growth through a strategic collaboration with the Japanese market, one of the most discerning and knowledgeable markets in the global coffee landscape. As part of this project, the company hosted a delegation of professionals from Kyoto at its Naples headquarters — commercial partners and promoters of the Passalacqua brand in Japan.
The visit included a technical Masterclass with a strong training focus, designed to transfer advanced expertise across the entire production chain. The programme covered:
- Selection and evaluation of raw materials
- Roasting processes and quality control
- Professional sensory analysis
- Extraction techniques and operating standards
- Tasting methodologies and SCA protocols
The activity was coordinated by Francesco Costanzo, Head of Training, who guided the group through the production departments and the research and development areas, illustrating the procedures, technical parameters and monitoring systems that define the Passalacqua method.
The initiative is part of a broader international development project, aimed at strengthening the brand's presence in foreign markets through training, knowledge transfer and the consolidation of strategic partnerships. Japan, long known for its sensitivity to quality and to Italian coffee culture, represents a privileged partner for Passalacqua, one capable of fully appreciating the excellence of the product and the Neapolitan tradition behind it.
With this meeting, Passalacqua reaffirms its commitment to bringing the identity of Neapolitan coffee beyond its borders, promoting high standards, technical expertise, and a shared vision centred on quality.
